• This gorgeous Carolina Herrera sample gown is made of layers of silk chiffon that are lightweight and easy to move in. Around the waist is a band with intricate floral embroidery and Swarovski crystals. Two sashes of silk chiffon begin right below the bust and come up over the shoulders to form straps. The position and width of the straps can be adjusted to suit your taste. The gown also features a small chapel train. 
• The gown has never been altered or worn. There is a slight pull in fabric on one side of the bust but it is entirely covered by the chiffon straps and is too small to show up in photos. 
• This gown retails new for $5,000; I purchased it at a sample sale for $1,900 from Vow's Bridal in Cambridge, MA. It was professionally cleaned by Vow's. 
• The measurements above are all approximate (they are my measurements rather than that of the gown). The gown is a label size 10 but because the dress is only closely fitted right under the bust, the sizing is a bit more flexible than other wedding dresses. I wear a street size 10, but was able to fit this bridal size 10. The dress could also easily fit women who normally wear a street size 8 (or even 6 and smaller with very modest alterations). 
• I purchased this gown right after I got engaged but we ended up deciding on a very casual beach affair and I decided to go with a simpler gown. It was sad to give this one up though as it's really stunning! If you've ever tried on a Carolina Herrera gown before, you know how luxurious the fabric feels. I'm hoping another bride will feel gorgeous in it on her wedding day!
