Stunning silk faille Kenneth Pool strapless dropped waist ball gown with pleated crumb-catcher detail at the bust. Crystal and pearl embellished bodice followed by a chapel train with glove button detail leading down to even more crystal and pearl embellishments. Can be bustled in either the French or American style. The Dress was purchased in 2008 at Kleinfeld in New York and is still a part of the current Kenneth Pool collection. I have the original paperwork and receipt. Please e-mail me for additional pictures, I’d be happy to take specific pictures of the dress upon request. Dress comes with original plastic Kleinfeld bag and additional breathable fabric bag for storage.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- Original alterations after dress order included hem, bust, waist and hips. Bustle and bra cups were also added. I had to have additional last minute alterations to the waist and hips just prior to the wedding due to weight loss. I had the bustle repaired after the wedding due to one of the ties being pulled out. Retail cost of dress was $5900 before taxes, original alterations done at Kleinfeld, last minute alterations done locally, spot clean and press done locally after pre-wedding pictures, and bustle repair done after wedding. Total cost of dress was over $7000. Dress is in great condition but could use another cleaning to remove some of the scuffing on the underside of the hem.
