The dress is a creme silk duchess satin A-line gown, Ivory Alencon lace dropped waist bodice with scalloped neckline and waistline. Ivory ribbon sash and brooch at natural waist. The back is lined with gorgeous satin buttons up to the train area.
This dress has a luxurious feel to it which was one of my requirement for the dress. The train is a perfect length with out weighing the dress when bustled. Comfort was also a primary factor for my selection of this gown. I wanted a dress that I would be able to sit and dance comfortably the whole evening. I originally had a second dress planned for midreception in the event this dress became uncomfortable, which ended up as a going away dress due to the comfort of this gown.

- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- The dress was purchased as label size of 12. I was a street size 4-6 for the wedding and this allowed for alterations to the bust and waist that allowed for me to wear a padded bustier/corset underneath. For those who have a much smaller frame has sufficient space to take the dress in. The bustle was also added to complement the back which you hook on to a button securely and invisible buttons on the bottom added to keep the bustles structure while moving. A bra hook was added in the back to insure your bra or bustier stays down. The dress was hemmed at the bottom primarily at the front to insure not tripping on the dress. The hem has extra room to take in or out. I'm 5ft tall and wore a 2 1/2 inch heel for the wedding.

- PRESERVATION METHOD
- Light dry cleaning/steaming is needed primarily in the bottom and back area of the dress where it touched the ground. No tears or major stain on the dress.
