Dress Details

This dress is absolutely gorgeous, and I felt like a show-stopper in it. The silhouette is perfect for any bride wanting to accentuate her curves or create curves and seems to flatter virtually any bride's body! The dress is a very pale ivory and is made of Italian silk taffeta. It is a strapless, trumpet gown with an asymmetric train and side flower detail.
It was custom ordered with length added. This dress was purchased for $3,950, excluding $200 for additional length, $350 for cleaning, and $350 for alterations. I am offering it for a great price, for a fast sale! Additionally, the gown can be pressed for free, upon arrival (free pressing in over 500 cities nationwide through the bridal gown cleaning service I went through!)

Dress Alterations

The dress was custom made, in that length was added to the dress, as I am tall! I fit perfectly into the 8 when purchased but prior to the wedding the dress was taken in around the bust and waist (hips remained the same). The Priscilla of Boston tailor said that essentially the dress, aside from the hips, was reduced to a 6. A 13 part bustle was put into the dress and is featured in one of the photos. Not all portions of the bustle need to be put up for the dress to rest well but can be. The bust, waist, and hips sizes listed were those that were most recently on file at the wedding boutique.

Veil / Headpiece Description

I have a cathedral length Priscilla of Boston Veil, with blusher, that I purchased with the dress for $535. I would be willing to sell it for $220. It is outlined in ivory trim and is stunning.

Preservation Method

Professionally dry cleaned through the Priscilla of Boston (Melissa Sweet) boutique. This preservation method includes cleaning and mending the dress and essentially restores it to new.

As the dress is professionally cleaned and packaged, a return would require a $400 loss, as I would want to get the gown professionally cleaned and re-packaged again for a new buyer
