Elegant, duchess satin Vera Wang dress that originally cost $6,000! Size 8 (street size 6). I was guaranteed this could be altered down to a street size 2 without taking anything away from the dress. I’m about 5’7” and did wear the dress on with 2 inch heels. This is a beautiful, couture dress made of duchess satin with embroidery appliqués that has little pearl and crystal accents. The design can be seen around the bust area, extending down the side, and again further down the dress on the opposite side. It’s strapless with a slightly scooped neckline and a sheer fringe that goes all the way around and has satin-covered buttons that extends down the length of the train. It’s fitted on top and through the hips then flares out – very figure flattering. This dress has the perfect amount of details for someone looking for little added touches that give a dress character. It also looks absolutely stunning with a French bustle. I immediately fell in love with this dress!
