This dress is amazing and makes your figure look stunning!! The bodice is lace with ruching down to the hips. The dress is gathered on the left side with a crystal brooch (removable) and falls elegantly to the floor. The back has covered buttons and a sweep train. What I liked most about the dress, besides how it made me look, was that the ruching allowed me to sit and stand without making the dress look wrinkled. I got so many compliments on this dress!! It was worn for my wedding on Nov. 21, 2009. I purchased this dress from J. Major's Boutique in Charlotte, NC.
- DRESS ALTERATIONS
- The gown was shortened to fit my 5'3" frame with 3 inch heels (so 5'6" total length). I also had the bodice taken in to accommodate my small rib cage. I had a layer of tulle removed so the gown fit more slim than poufy at the bottom. All alterations were done through the bridal boutique.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I also have the veil available. It is chapel length (past the end of my dress, so very long!) and ivory as well. It is very simple, no beading or lace or anything.
