This is an exquisite Demetrios Couture Collection dress. It is 100% silk tafetta, which not only feels better than manmade fabrics, it photographs beautifully. It is unlike any other wedding dress I have seen with its bustle drape skirt. It has a cathedral-length train that can be bustled after the ceremony. There is beautiful real crystal beading on the front bodice. The dropped waist is rouched; this makes it very figure flattering. The color is officially white according to the Demetrios description, but I think it is looks more like a pearly off-white to ivory. It was originally strapless, but I had off-the-shoulder sleeves added. I didn't want to have a strapless dress because it seems as if everyone has that these days and I wanted something a little different. However, if you prefer that style, the sleeves can be easily snipped out. Dress has built-in net underskirt as seen in one of the pictures with the skirt lifted. Dress was purchased in 2009 for wedding in October. Worn only once during that joyful occasion. I wasn't sure what I would do with it until I found this site. I am so happy for the chance to recycle my dress (go green!) and I love the idea that someone else may have also have a very special day in it.
