Stunning duchess silk satin dress I bought as a sample (retails for $2990) made by Vwidon, a Chicago-based design house "devoted to contemporary couture wedding gowns" (check them out at Vwidon.com). It's made of a beautiful, buttery-soft material. It's listed as an A-line, but it actually has a somewhat trumpet-style silhouette. A broad pleated ribbon wraps around the drop waist to tie behind with a bow! It has a train, and I had a bustle created. This dress is so unique--I tried on many that I liked, but I fell in love with this one immediately! It gave me such a nice figure, and I have never felt so beautiful, and I received tons of compliments about the dress. It was a size 6, altered to a size 4. I am 5'3'' and wore 2.5 inch heels. I wore it only for a few hours. The material is so soft that it did suffer thread pulling and scratches at some areas along the hem from where it touched the ground. This is not noticable unless you look for it, and it would totally disappear if the dress were hemmed. Please let me know if you'd like to see more pictures.
