This is a custom designed dress inspired by the designs of my favorite designers, Reem Acra, Amelia Carrera, and Stephen Yearick. It was created for me by a designer that specifically makes wedding dresses. I cannot describe the feeling you get when you put this dress on. It is truly amazing. I know these types of dresses are not for everyone, but if you like ball gowns this is the dress for you. (Pls note there is a huge crenoline under this gown in these photos. It's only purpose was to highlight the beading for the pics, I would recommend a smaller crenoline the day of) The dress is Diamond White and 100% Silk Satin. It is a classic ball gown, with cathedral train. The pleats and beading on this dress are what makes it so luxurious. A lot of silk was used to create this masterpiece. If you notice the front, sides and back all have double pleats. So the dress flows beautifully. Also you will notice that the embroidery and bead work is also in the pleats on the sides. So it peeks out as you walk. As for the embroidery and beadwork. Most of the bead work was done by hand, and took several months. The bodice is also heavily beaded and the matching design is all around the bottom. It continues on the pleats and the train. This dress sparkles and shimmers at all angles. The dress is prepared for bustling. Although I do not have a photo. I believe it is anywhere from 10-14 points. The dress is BRAND NEW and never worn. There are a few minor pulls on the front but that is because of all the beadwork. The dress is in great condition. It is currently stored in a garment bag in my home. If you have been shopping for a dress, you know you cannot buy a 100% silk dress with this kind of bead work from any bridal salon for less than $5,000. Additional pictures are available. - DRESS ALTERATIONS
- This dress can certainly be altered and definitely made smaller. This is a custom gown so it was made to my measurements. The measurements posted below are the original measurements taken to make the dress. I know the bodice was adjusted smaller to be more form fitting.
- VEIL / HEADPIECE DESCRIPTION
- I do not have a veil, but I do have 2 pairs of shoes. One Vera Wang White Satin Pair size 10N. They were used when I got them. I used them to try on the dress because I wasnt sure what type of shoe I wanted. They are in decent shape, especially if someone wants to clean them a bit. The second pair is called Bella by Grace. It is a closed toe in the front with a strap that wraps around the ankle. They are very simple given the design of the dress. Photos available.
