Dress Details
This beautiful dress is a Paloma Blanca, # 3851. It was worn once for my September 2009 wedding. It is strapless, a-line and has a short train. It is raw silk and lace, and the lace part has tiny crystals and pearls scattered around (which aren't overly obvious unless you are close up or unless the light catches them in just the right way). The back comes fairly low beneath the shoulder blades and comes into a very slight "V"/dip. It has a sash (same color as the dress) that ties around the waist and comes with a pearl/rhinestone brooch. The back is zip-up with a few tiny hidden hooks to close it up smoothly.
It is a gorgeous dress and has a simple elegance to it, and it was UNBELIEVABLY comfortable!!! I didn't want to take it off!!
It is a size 10, however I normally wear a size 8. I'm 5'8 and normally approx 133 lbs. I'd accidentally lost 5 or 6 lbs the week of my wedding (oops!), so it was a bit loose around the middle that day.

Dress Alterations
There are soft cups sewn into the top, and also a thin piece of elastic sewn into the sides of the bust area, which my seamstress said would keep the top up snugly (and avoid any "wardrobe malfunctions!"). No bra is required. I'm about a 34/36 B, and there was still a little room even with the cups. I would imagine if you are bigger-chested than me, you could get the cups taken out.
It has a high "american" bustle, which needs a minor repair (the back of the dress was stepped on and the button pulled out).
No other alterations were made.
Veil / Headpiece Description
The veil is very simple, and comes to around the low hip/butt area. It was originally almost $200 and is included with the dress.
Preservation Method
