Dress Description:
2010 wedding gowns are a new mix of vintage/retro and modern. This gown is one of a kind! It came from a private collection, is a beautiful silk shantung, originally classified as a vintage wedding gown, with delicate silk roses tapering across each tier. I had the back of the gown modified, with an added silk panel, gromets and silk ties, allowing for a stronger definition of the waist and the bust and variation in size. The gown has a 5" inch panel allowing for a wider range of sizes in the bust: 32.5"-37.5" (approximately), waist: 27"-32" (approximately) and lower waist. I also had a traditional loop added for the pick-up of the train. I did not wear a skirt under the gown, however one can be added for additional fullness. This beautiful gown was worn for a 4 hour reception only. It has been cleaned and has been stored in a breathable cloth garment bag. We live in a non-smoking home and a pet free environment. Although the gown is classified as "off white" it looks more like a Diamond White color. Additional pictures are available upon request, serious inquiries only. Zipper and buttons were removed, a silk modesty panel was sewn in, metal gromets and silk ties were added.
