The gown came from a private collection, it is silk (excellent material for breathing-no sweating, lighter to wear and walk around in). Delicate silk roses taper across three tiers going down the back and on the train. I had the back of the gown modified by adding a traditional corset with a silk panel, metal gromets and silk ties, allowing for a stronger definition of the waist and the bust as well as variation in size. The gown has a 5" inch panel for a wider range of sizes (I lost weight and gained weight!) The bust: 32.5"-37.5" (approximately), waist: 28"-33" (approximately). Hips were n/a. I also had a traditional loop added for the pick-up of the train. I did not wear a skirt under the gown, however one can be added for additional fullness. This beautiful gown was worn for a 4 hour reception only. It has been cleaned and has been stored in a breathable cloth garment bag. We live in a non-smoking home and a pet free environment. Although the gown is classified as "off white" it looks more like a Diamond White color.
