Dress Description:

Classic Alvina Valenta creme silk duchess satin ball bridal gown. Draped bodice with plunging sweetheart neckline. English Rose silk duchess satin band with bow at waist (Bow is removable). Covered buttons line the entire backside and the chapel train complete the look. I am a size 8-10 with fuller hips, but I think the ball gown would accommodate a size larger or smaller hip/butt. I wore this romantic Alvina Valenta bridal gown to my formal fall wedding, although this is from the spring collection – I think it works in either setting. I loved this gown because it was light and flowing and had a delicate sophistication to it. It was unique with its fitted bodice, plunging waistline and full ball gown. I hope another bride will have the same amount of fulfillment as I did from this timeless gown.

Dress Alterations:

I am a full 34B, so the neckline was brought in slightly to fit my bust. No other alterations were made, except for the addition of a bustle for the reception. The gown is in wonderful condition, as it was only worn for a few hours and professionally cleaned. All the buttons, zippers, seams and fabric are in great shape.
