This dress is still the talk of my wedding - it is gorgeous. And it's in amazing condition. The green sash is removable, as well as the detachable ribbon that loops over the waist sash and hangs down the back of the dress (you can either tie it into a huge bow or let it hang like in pictures). You could easily have a seamstress create a different color sash and ribbon to replace it, or just go all-ivory.

Amsale herself assured me the dress was designed well and she was right, so no worries about spilling out of it! The dress also has sewed-in cups to hold breasts and give a little coverage and lift and it has just the right amount of crinoline - enough to give it a romantic bounce but not weigh you down or make you hot. I had the dressed hemmed at the Amsale shop and have receipts for purchase, alteration, and professional, museum-quality cleaning/preservation.
