I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it in the Amsale flagship boutique on Madison Avenue in NYC. This ivory colored Amsale dress has a low back and was comfortable to wear. The silky material is gorgeous and gives off a little sheen. The hem skims the floor in the front and has a small sweep train in the back that’s gorgeous for the ceremony and it looks even more romantic when bustled. It has a celidon (light green) sash around the waist with beautiful buttons on the back of the sash and a detachable/versatile Southern belle sash/bow that loops over the waist sash and hangs down the back of the dress adding a stunning effect (you can either tie it into a huge bow or let it hang like in pictures).

The spaghetti straps don't actually hold the dress up, which means it doesn’t hurt your shoulders/neck - the dress sits on your waist so it was easy to move and dance all night. I was concerned about spillage because of the dress style but Amsale herself assured me it was designed well and she was right! The dress also has sewed-in cups to hold breasts and give a little coverage and lift and it has just the right amount of crinoline - enough to give it a romantic bounce but not weigh you down or make you hot. I had the dressed hemmed at the Amsale shop and have receipts for purchase, alteration, and cleaning/preservation.
