Dress Description:

This beautiful ivory alencon lace Monique Lhuillier Scarlet dress with latte color slip was purchased from the Bridal Galleria in San Francisco in 2006. The original bride spent close to a grand altering it from a size 4 to a street size 2 to fit her and wore it for a few hours during her summer 2007 wedding. She had the dress professionally cleaned and preserved in a box after the wedding. I (Bride #2) purchased this dress from the original bride in February 2009 for my July 2009 wedding. Amazingly, the dress fit perfectly with no alterations needed. I have included both my measurements and the original bride’s measurements below: Original Bride: 32 24 33 5’3 110 pounds street size 2 (wore 4 inch heels) 2nd Bride: 33 25 34 5’4 114 pounds street size 2 (wore 2 inch heels) I had the dress professionally cleaned and preserved in a box after my wedding. The bottom of the dress had a few spots of dirt from my wedding but the cleaners were able to remove it and the dress looks almost as good as new. Again, this dress has only been altered once! Thanks to the original bride, I was able to wear my dream dress on my wedding day without paying retail. I would love to pass this dress on to another bride for her special day.
