Dress Description:
This beautiful dress features a vertically ruched bodice. Under the bodice, there is a one-inch wide empire waist band embellished with beads, crystals and sequins. The skirt is floor-length, unadorned, and elegant. An attached petticoat provides volume and great motion while dancing! The dress includes optional, removable spaghetti straps.

Dress Alterations:
Although I typically wear street size 10, I have a relatively small ribcage and ample bosom (34DD). So the upper bodice was pretty much left alone, but the empire waist was taken in accordingly. The hips were let out a little bit, but the original stitch holes are not at all visible. The dress was hemmed to a height of 5'11" in front, increasing to about 6'0" in the back. The dress included a train when purchased. I had the train cut off, but will include the extra fabric so you have it available for alterations.
