Dress Description:

I bought this dress at the Saks Fifth Avenue sample sale in NYC. It was a pristine sample with no tears and no stains. It was in such good condition that I snapped it up before I had tried on any other dresses or even had a wedding date or location and ultimately I ended up with another dress. It was never worn and has been altered and includes the bustle.

It is Ivory silk mikado with ivory grosgrain lace, from the Carolina Herrera Spring 2008 collection. I have more pictures if you would like to see them. The dress was pressed after alterations and has not been tried on since. The dress was originally a size 8, but has been altered down to a street size 4. I'm 5'3" and wore a 4" heel for alterations and the dress lightly skimmed the floor. Measurements are about 33", 31", 35" and about 115 - 120 lbs. There are cups in the bust of the dress. The alterations were completed by Madame Paulette Custom Couture Cleaner in NYC. As mentioned will supply $100 gift card for J. Scheer Gown Preservation. They accept gowns from all states.
