Dress Details

This is an amazing Carolina Herrera wedding dress I bought at Kleinfeld in Manhattan, New York and used it once in September 2009. This dress is from Carolina Herrera Bridal’s spring 2008 runway collection. The primary fabric is Mikado and the secondary fabric is Satin. I was looking for a simple, elegant, classic and stylish dress and this dress says them all. Inside the dress, there are several seamless layers of 100% silk English net that makes it really light but with a lot of movement at the same time. The surface of the dress looks amazing (10 times more beautiful in person than photos even it looks already great in photos) and it’s a free cut for the bottom of the dress. It was professionally trimmed by the tailor from Kleinfeld. (Thanks, Josephine!) Josephine also created 12 small clear bottoms to bustle the dress and it looks flawless from behind. It has a chapel train which I love since it’s not too long and not too short. There are two cups she put in the dress since I have a very small chest but it’s definitely removable. The dress comes with an ivory Henry Roth veil (also purchased from Kleinfeld priced as $585) that matches the dress. I am not sure about the style number but it’s close to style 1317 on Henry Roth’s website with the Cathedral train which covers the train of the dress in order to show the beautiful surface of the dress. I also have an ARTIKAL Style No: 31495393 headpiece (also purchased from Kleinfeld priced as $300) as your optional purchase at 50% off. The dress and veil were professionally cleaned after the wedding in September 2009.
