Dress Description:

From the Spring 2009 Collection, Amsale Aubrey Dress. This is a gorgeous dress! It is a silk faile, strapless, trumpet style dress. The dress has a scoop neckline with an asymmetrical folded at the bust. The dress has a natural waist with a beautiful vintage style broach attached onto the left hip. I purchased this dress directly from the Madison Avenue Amsale boutique in New York City for $3,900 plus tax in April 2009. After the dress was ordered, right before it was delivered to the boutique, my wedding plans changed and sadly the dress will no longer be appropriate for my wedding. I absolutely love this dress but because I can not wear it I have decided to sell it in hope another bride will be able to enjoy it and feel beautiful in it on her wedding day! This dress is an Amsale size 4 which is equivalent to a street size 2. The color of the dress is "off white" but it is a pretty crisp, refreshing white. I do not have the dress in my possession; the dress is currently being held at the Amsale boutique. I can't bring myself to take it home! When a lucky bride falls in love with the dress decides to purchase it, I will be happy to pick it up and mail it to her, or she can claim it from NYC's Amsale boutique! Dress Alterations:
I went for one fitting on the dress. The hem of the dress was basted but no fabric was removed. The waist was also lifted by 1". No fabric was cut so the dress could be easily brought back to its original state. All alterations were made by the Amsale seamstress but no work was completed.
