Dress Description:

This silk two-piece Monique Lhuillier dress is incredibly easy to wear. Not to mention, it was on the cover of Brides Magazine! I chose this dress so that I wouldn't feel obligated to lose weight for the wedding. It turns out, I did lose weight and the dress worked anyway.

You will notice that it fits more loosely on me than it does on the model in the Nov/Dec 2008 Brides Magazine cover. I went from a street size 10-12 to a size 8-10. But it was a minor inconvenience I was happy to overlook. This dress has been dry cleaned back to its original glory. There are two 2-inch marks (from being brushed against dust?) and a 1/4 inch hole from when we bustled the train. But otherwise, the dress is in remarkable shape! Price does not include the champagne colored sash - I'm going to keep that as my one memory!

Dress Alterations:
My mom is a former seamstress and she removed all of the hand sewn alterations. So the dress is back in its original condition!
