Dress Description:

Here’s your chance to own your fantasy dress at a price you can afford! I planned to sell this dress upon buying it, so I took great care of it the day of our wedding and I used DC’s most renowned tailors and cleaners. This gown is made of the softest silk, which gave it a lovely sheen and made it very comfortable. I loved that it was both fitted yet maintained that flowy Grecian look. It is a size 2.

The color is ivory. Throughout the night, it did get a few very minor snags. I had it restored at an award-winning tailor/cleaner, where all snags were repaired remarkably. None of the imperfections would ever be seen by the naked eye when the dress is being worn. It is not the least bit stained or dirty. I am positive that no one would know that the dress is not brand new. This simple and elegant gown is nearly weightless. It feels like a nightgown against the skin due to the silk lining. The gown is 100% silk (absolutely NO polyester or rayon) which makes it breathable and easy to wear. The gown features an empire waistline, which is always flattering, but this dress still felt fitted throughout, and it has a softly pleated bustline. The exterior of the gown is silk chiffon, with bands of silk around the bustline. The pleats flow down from the bustline, opening up as they drop towards the floor. This dress is very unique and my guests could not stop talking about it! When I had it on in the store, people gathered around just to look at this dress. I bought it at full price for $2500 and paid over $500 for restoring, so you’re getting a great deal at only $1350. I'm happy to pay for the shipping. Please email me with any questions.

Dress Alterations:
I had bra cups added and about an inch taken from the length in the front, but none from the back because it has an amazing waterfall train. I am 5'-5", but I wore 4" heels! My tailor (Do’s in Georgetown) said that there is room for both taking in and letting it out.
