Stunning Vera Wang halter mermaid sheath was purchased at L'atelier Couture for my June 20, 2009 wedding. This elegant gown is made from 100% silk crepe backed charmeuse, which moves beautifully and is lightweight and comfortable to wear. The low, open back has a unique “Vera Wang” signature beaded accent with bobbinet tulle draping through to the beautiful sweeping train. This gorgeous gown exudes old Hollywood glamour. I am 5’9” tall and ordered the gown with extra length so I could wear 2” Manolo Blahnik heels. A seamstress added bustles for the reception. The gown could easily be hemmed for a shorter bride.
