Dress Details

Silk tulle and Chantilly lace, covered in rosettes and tiered tulle and lace "fluffs"; fishtail back train; strapless; sweetheart neckline. This dress was a smashing hit at our summer 2009 wedding! People were describing it as one of the most "unique" and "beautiful" dresses they have ever seen. Not to mention, I felt incredibly wonderful in it! This dress is also extremely easy to move, sit, and dance in!! This dress was inspired by Elizabeth Fillmore's "Bijou" gown (http://www.elizabethfillmorebridal.com/) and was custom-made by a Los Angeles-based pattern maker, whose portfolio boasts dresses for a world-famous bridal house and who currently works for a high-end fashion designer. She also dresses world-renowned celebrities and singers. Because the rosettes hang to the floor, any alteration to the hem would be extremely simple. A seamstress can also easily remove any excess rosettes and re-attach them to the dress (if shortened) or add new rosettes (if lengthened). This dress has a small double-bustle.
