Dress Details
This gown is gorgeous due to the simplicity and luxurious fabric. It's barely ivory silk satin with silk satin lining so it flows beautifully when you walk. The shape is trumpet (fitted, but not mermaid) and is incredibly flattering on all body types. The dress is strapless with petite covered buttons all the way to the bottom of the train. They would look stunning in a close up photo of the back (especially because the gown looks amazing when bustled). This is my dream dress but sadly I bought it before I decided to wear my grandmother's old gown. From Caroline De Villo's website: "Stunning and captivating these gowns blend the highest quality silks of today with a classic vintage style of Old Hollywood. The focus of the design is to feature the bride as the star in her wedding, the pivotal scene from her personal love story. Each gown is meticulously crafted and hand finished in the designer's Chicago based studio to emphasize perfect fit and classic elegance over heavy beading or flashy detail." The gown was purchased at The White Dress by the Shore, an upscale boutique on the Connecticut coast, for $3400. It was altered to fit 10-12 on top, and size 12-14 on bottom and already has cups built in (no undergarment needed). The original tags where removed during this process but the gown has never ever been worn. As the pictures suggest it can be paired with a sash. I did not plan to do this and a sash is not included in the sale. It has been stored on a cardboard form with tissue paper under the train that's pinned up in the back, which the boutique did. The gown measurements (measured while it was on the form) are: 30" waist; 54" length from top of dress to the bottom; train (hard to measure) is approximately another 30" off the back from the bottom of the dress. Height with shoes is about 5'10. The bust and hips can easily be altered. If you need more information, just let me know! Thanks!

Veil / Headpiece Description
I've listed the veil separately, but I'll make a deal if you want the dress and veil together. The veil is from Homa Bridal and the retail value is $415. It's 28" from end of comb to the longest point in back (fingertip length). It matches the dress perfectly with a silk ivory trim and has the same subtle sheen that the dress has.
