Eco-friendly Invites: Earthly Affair

Looking for some fresh style in the world of eco-friendly wedding invites? Look no further than Earthly Affair. They provide creative wedding invitations for the eco-conscious bride that are both sophisticated and fun. Owner Jennifer Stambolsky discovered the lack of “green” wedding invitation options when planning her own 2007 nuptuals. According to her website, Jennifer’s “appreciation of nature and her love of beautiful stationary inspired her to create a modern and unique invitation line, perfect for the bride who wishes to send an original invitation while lessoning her impact on the environment.”

And at Earthly Affair, when they talk about sustainability, it’s not just lip service. They are truly committed to eco-friendly values by helping today’s brides reduce their carbon footprint. All invites are created using premium recycled 100% post consumer paper or partially recycled, FSC certified cotton paper, without chlorine processing. Working in an eco equipped studio, some of their green practices include: reducing energy usage with compact fluorescent bulbs and energy star electronics, recycling paper products and shipping materials and utilizing electronic documents. They even offset co2 emissions from shipping and production using carbonfund.org.

One of my favorite designs is the Juliet. I just love the understated elegance of these sweet little lovebirds. The blue and green color combination feels fresh and modern.

Here’s another one of my favorites…the Grace. The delicate and unique floral design is timeless and romantic. Doesn’t it seem perfect for an outdoor summer wedding? It’s available in a variety of colors, but I think this gentle purple hue really makes it unique.

Visit Earthly Affair to view all their designs and color options. Beautiful invitations created in an eco-friendly style? Now, that’s inspiring!
